Greg Lockard is a writer and editor of comic books. As a writer, he has co-created two graphic novels: TRICK PONY with artist/co-creator Anna David and LIEBESTRASSE with artist/co-creator Tim Fish. LIEBESTRASSE was nominated as an “Outstanding Comic Book” for the 2020 GLAAD Media Awards and listed by the New York Times as one of “10 Comic Books to Celebrate Pride.” Lockard began his career at DC Comics in the Talent Relations department and later moved to the editorial team of the Vertigo imprint. At Vertigo, he worked on such titles as AMERICAN VAMPIRE, FABLES, iZOMBIE, SWEET TOOTH, THE UNWRITTEN, and many others. Lockard has been working as a freelance editor since 2015, with clients and publishers that have included: Dark Horse Comics, Image Comics, Comixology Originals, DSTLRY, the Stout Club, and more. In May 2024, he joined Tiny Onion as a Talent Manager, returning to the type of work that began his professional life. He continues to edit titles for Tiny Onion as well as other clients while pitching new graphic novels as a writer. Lockard lives and works in Jersey City with an obscene amount of houseplants.
